Once you have added stories and sketches to your workshop, you can export the content to a variety of formats.
Exporting Your Project
- Click the
Menubutton at the top right corner of the screen
- Click
Export workshop
- Check the content you would like to export, and select the format: CSV, PDF, or DOCX
For DOCX files, we recommend viewing the content in Google Docs for best results.
Understanding Your Exports
Stories CSV exports will include the following columns:
Column | Definition |
Workshop Name | The name of the workshop |
Prompt | The label of the story prompt |
Description | The contents of the story |
Submitter | The name of the story submitter |
Latitude | The latitude coordinate of the story |
Latitude | The longitude coordinate of the story |
Datetime Submitted (UTC) | The datetime the story was created |
Sketches CSV exports will include the following columns:

Land Ownership | A comma-delineated list of parcel owners (see link) |
Coordinates | The latitude and longitude of the center point of the site |
Census Tract | A comma-delineated list of census tracts overlapping the site (see link) |
Disadvantaged Community? | Whether the site overlaps or is within a 1/3-mile walkshed of a CalEnviroScreen-designated Disadvantaged Community (see link) |

Offsite Runoff: Average Year (gallons) | The average annual rainfall funneling to the highest-volume location within a 250-ft radius of the site for stormwater diversion |

Offsite Runoff Contribution Area: Total (acres) | The area funneling water to the highest-volume location within a 250-ft radius of the site for stormwater diversion |

Infiltration (in/hr) | For sites above a groundwater basin, the rate of infiltration for overlying soils |
Transit Stops (bus and rail stops) | The number of bus and rail stops within a 1/3-mile walkshed of the site (see link) |
Bikeways (share stations) | The number of bike share stations within a 1/3-mile walkshed of the site (see link) |
